As WCC returns to live performance, we’ll celebrate the magic of the season with musical expressions of Joy, Hope, and Wonder. This year’s Candlelight Holiday Concert will feature favorite African-American Christmas spirituals, Villancicos (carols) with a special focus on the music of Puerto Rico & Mexico, as well as Medieval and Renaissance music from the English, Spanish, and Jewish traditions. 24 Hours of Carols

A Virtual Event

Join WCC for 24 hours of your favorite holiday songs, carols, prizes, and more! This virtual fundraiser is held entirely through Facebook and will feature solos by our choristers and staff, as well as exciting auction prizes!

MLK Day of Service and Song


Monday, January 17th, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.

Join the Wilmington Children’s Chorus and the Delaware Art Museum in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a day of song and service. WCC will perform for the event kickoff, followed by service opportunities at West Side Grows, The Teen Warehouse, and One Village Alliance.

More than a Song: The Negro Spiritual

More than a Song explored the history and rich musicality of spirituals, presented by the Wilmington Children’s Chorus Chamber Choir and narrated by Bebe Coker.

Performance with Delaware Symphony Orchestra (Holst: The Planets)

Friday, March 11th, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.

The Delaware Symphony Orchestra performed classics such as Gymnopédies No. 1, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, and Holst’s The Planets, a seven-movement orchestral suite. The Wilmington Children’s Chorus was featured in the seventh movement: Neptune.
