OperaDelaware’s production of Dead Man Walking
Members of our Youth and Select Choirs will perform alongside a professional cast and choir in OperaDelaware’s production of one of the most successful contemporary operas of our time, Jake Heggie’s DEAD MAN WALKING. Based on the book by Sister Helen Prejean with a libretto by Terrence McNally, this contemporary masterpiece is about a death row inmate and the nun who becomes his spiritual adviser.

Annual Spring Concert: A Musical Journey

Showcasing all 150 members of the Youth Choirs, Select Choir, Young Men’s Ensemble, Concert and Chamber Choirs at First and Central Presbyterian Church. The Wilmington Children’s Chorus (WCC) will present a journey through the music of our world, as a preview of their exciting summer exchange! The choir will be joined by Higo Rodrigues on piano.

302 Guns Down – Peace Week Event
The Wilmington Children’s Chorus performed during the “302 Guns Down – Day of Peace” event at the Adams St. Basketball Courts. “302 Guns Down” is a community driven initiative to take a stand against violence in Wilmington.

Annual Candlelight Concerts
In their Annual Candlelight Holiday Concert, the five performing ensembles of the Wilmington Children’s Chorus presented repertoire that celebrated the magic of the holiday season! The choir was joined by David Christopher on organ and piano, and David Bozenhard on guitar at First and Central Presbyterian Church (1101 N. Market St. Wilmington, DE).

Delaware Symphony Orchestra Family Concert

The Wilmington Children’s Chorus joined the Delaware Symphony Orchestra and members of First State Ballet for DSO’s Holiday Family Concert! The concert was a hit, and is sure to be a family favorite for years to come! The orchestra and the Children’s Chorus showcased holiday favorites such as excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, Ding Don Merrily on High, Winter Wonderland, and more!

Cartoon Christmas Trio at the Delaware Art Museum
The choir’s advanced Youth Choir members joined everyone’s favorite holiday trio to perform favorite tunes from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and other holiday cartoons at the Delaware Art Museum.
