Martin Luther King Jr. “Day of Service” Performance
Members of WCC’s Select Choir and Tenor Bass Choir will continue their tradition of honoring the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through song at the Delaware State Bar Association’s MLK “Day of Service”.
Sunday, January 26th at 11 a.m.
First and Central Presbyterian Church Service
WCC’s Concert Choir will give back to our generous hosts at First and Central Presbyterian Church‘s morning service. We look forward to offering up the unique sound and spirit of children’s voices to our friends and neighbors!

Holst’s The Planets with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra
Written in 1916, Holst’s The Planets features a movement for each planet in our solar system, and their corresponding astrological character. The incredible sopranos and altos of our Chamber Choir will be featured in movement seven “Neptune, The Mystic”.

Annual Spring Concerts
All five ensembles of WCC’s performing choirs will join together to present “This Land Was Made for You and Me”. Choristers and guest artists will present music from the cultures of Delaware’s five largest recent immigrant populations from Mexico, India, Guatemala, China, and the Philippines.

302 Guns Down
The Wilmington Children’s Chorus Youth Choirs were honored to stand together with our neighbors and friends in support of ending gun violence in Wilmington. They led event attendees in a spirituals sing-a-long and helped raised hundreds of dollars for gun violence victims!

Downstate Holiday Concert
WCC’s Concert Choir presented a preview of our Annual Holiday Concert to our downstate friends at All Saints’ Church in Rehoboth, Delaware.

Cartoon Christmas Trio at the Delaware Art Museum
The choir’s advanced Youth Choir members joined everyone’s favorite holiday trio to perform favorite tunes from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and other holiday cartoons at the Delaware Art Museum.

Annual Holiday Concerts
Members of the Wilmington Children’s Chorus Performing Choirs joined together to celebrate the season with Baroque classics and jazz arrangements of holiday favorites. The choir was joined by Founding Artistic Director, David Christopher, on organ and piano. Friday evening’s performance \featured members of the Neighborhood Choirs, a collaborative program between OperaDelaware and the Wilmington Children’s Chorus that provides music education to youth in after school programs.
