Puccini’s Turandot with OperaDelaware

May 17, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
May 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.

From OperaDelaware: “Turandot was one of Puccini’s most forward-thinking pieces, and he set his magical tale in the mysterious and fantastical land of Peking. From the stirring 30-second overture that sets the scene for the executioner’s axe, to the use of percussion throughout, Turandot was Puccini at his most daring.” This opera features a children’s chorus (that’s where we come in!)
